Christina Aguilera Blames Designer Roberto Cavalli For Having Her Wear Real Fox Fur

Pop singer Christina Aguilera blamed her designer Roberto Cavalli for "tricking" her into wearing real fox fur onstage after the singer received an email from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Before the singer went on stage PETA activists reportedly sent a link to a video showing foxes getting killed by anal electrocution for their fur.

However, the singer quickly replied, saying she was "very upset" by it and insists that she "only wears fake fur."

According to SF Gate news, Christina Aguilerareportedly replaced the stole for a fake fur version for the remaining concerts she had in Switzerland, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

Cavalli is designing all the outfits for the singer's current world tour, and was reportedly instructed by Aguilera not to include any real animal fur.

However, the Italian couturier told Women's Wear Daily he sent her a stole made from real white fox fur, which she subsequently wore during a show in Europe.
